Segmenting the recent files menu

Hello,

What is the best way to approach segmenting the Recent Files menu. My
application works with two fundamentally different kinds of documents (e.g.
projects and source files) and I would like to group each kind of document
together in the Recent Files menu.

Cheers
-Mark
