I'm a newcomer to Cocoa so please bear with me if this is a known issue.
I have a bunch of very old nib files from the OpenStep days and I want to convert them to Cocoa. So far it's been relatively easy with the exception of the Main Menus. They are quite different from the old ones and I'd like to have the new look and layout of MacOSX.
In IB under NSMenu Info -> Attributes there's a Special Menu radio button with one option labeled Main Menu but I can't change the selection since it's disabled both for the old converted menus as well as new ones dragged from the palettes view.
I couldn't find any documentation on this special menu in the Apple docs or with Googgle.
Any ideas on what to do?
Thanks in advance,
Angelo Cura Civetta
