How to connect to a Distant Object on another machine ?

Yes, I know the answer is: Check the list archives.
Just looked at Apples mail archive and it told me that there is no searching.

I know that mmalc does publish a list of useful archives about once a month and that I should have kept a copy of this, but I didnt.

So please: could you either tell me "how to create the NSSocketPorts manually" or give me a link to an archive?

Gerriet.
