Process creation notification

Hi,

I was wondering if there is someone out there that is experienced in being notified when a process is created in the system.
I am not talking about the api that will only notify you if the process is wrapped in the window server.

I found this technote:
http://developer.apple.com/technotes/tn/tn2050.html#Section6

it explains how to be notified when a unix process is terminated, which is great and what I want,
but now I need a way to do this for processes being created.

Any help would be great,
thanks,
Matt
