No, this is the method to get the Data out for being displayed.
Just add:

- (id)tableView:(NSTableView*)table
setObjectValue: (id)anObject forTableColumn:(NSTableColumn*)col row:(int)rowIndex
{
[myMutableArray replaceObjectAtIndex: rowIndex withObject: anObject];
}

so the edited data finds it's way back to your array.

I have something similar in my code, looking like this:

- (id)tableView:(NSTableView*)table
objectValueForTableColumn:(NSTableColumn*)col row:(int)rowIndex
{
return [myMutableArray objectAtIndex:rowIndex];
}

Is this wrong?
