Creating a Custom Formatter

  • Subject: Creating a Custom Formatter

Has anyone done this, and could they share some code? I'd like my custom formatter to only act when the user presses return or tabs out of the field. I can't find a method to do this.

Is it necessary to set the owning NSTextField to send a message when editing is finished, and therefor the isPartialStringValid:newEditingString:errorDescription: method is only called at this time? _______________________________________________
