btw, is there any available code for this kind of prefs window I can look at?

My UKPrefsPanel class does everything except the resizing.

The resizing is pretty straightforward, and can be done using an NSWindow method, including the "sliding" effect. However, I personally don't really like it. I'm annoyed already by the print panel's resizing because it keeps sliding under the dock or offscreen whenever I go to the "color/greyscale printing" pane (which is taller than the first one).

So, if you add that feature, please make sure your windows stay on-screen and out of the way of the dock.
