Folks,
I just wanted to make you all aware of this - a special series of
conferences for ADC members. I'll be presenting a Cocoa for Tiger
(including the new Core Data Cocoa APIs) session as a part of this. Come on
out and bone up on Tiger, to get your development efforts going ahead of
it's release!
Here's the description of the Cocoa session:
Tiger: Cocoa Advancements featuring Core Data
Get an overview of the new Cocoa features in Mac OS X Tiger, with a special
focus on the new Core Data framework. This session focuses on the new
functionality provided for database connectivity and managing model objects,
which include automatic undo/redo, input validation and saving to various
types of "persistent stores" (SQL and XML). It will also cover integration
with Xcode¹s new design components.
Regards,

Announcing the Mac OS X Tiger Tech Talks!
Mac OS X Tiger Tech Talks are a great way for you to learn the latest
development details about the next major release of Mac OS X, as well as
Xcode, performance optimizations, Quartz, 64-bit development, and much more.
Through technology demonstrations, interactive presentations, and hands-on
lab feedback, you'll receive a wealth of practical information that can be
applied immediately to your Mac OS X v10.4 Tiger development efforts.
The Mac OS X Tiger Tech Talks are not a marketing or sales event. Instead,
think of them as a mini-WWDC with highly technical content aimed at
individuals in all of the following roles: Application programmer, Java
programmer, C/C++ programmer, Web Application developer, System Integrator,
System Analyst, Software Consultant, CTO, or Software Engineering Manager.
The Mac OS Tiger Tech Talks are all about 1) learning how to write highly
optimized, modern applications for Mac OS X and 2) how best to take
advantage of key Tiger technologies so that your applications are ready when
Tiger arrives!
In addition to highly technical sessions led by the Technology Evangelism
team, we'll also have a hands-on lab where you can get code level support
from DTS engineers. It doesn't get any better than this, except for at WWDC
itself!
