iPhoto Style table view

Hi,

I am a beginner application programmer, coming from a web scripting
background. I am in the process of building my first app, that isn't
dictated from a book. In the application I need a View similar to
what iPhoto has for displaying it's thumbnails. Where if I expand it
horizontally the images re-order themselves to expand horizontally. I
am not sure how to approach this. If anyone has done this, or has
suggestions on how to do this, I would greatly appreciate it, also any
tutorials on this kind of view would be appreciated as well.

TIA.
-James
