Thanks folks, that got me a good step farther. I have a nice little
UKLocale wrapper class now. *sighs happily*
Sadly, the AppleLocale key in NSGlobalDomain doesn't seem to exist,
because I could really use a list of alternate locale names to fall
back on when the current one isn't available. But at least I can now
get the current locale, which *is* an improvement.
