Sorry to go back to this, but I'm still settling into the new format
and I
have a question. Did someone say international characters are now
coming
through?
Well, in this same digest is a message with an " é" (e acute accent).
And here is another test: "虫" = a Chinese bug, "แมลง" a Thai bug in its
own writing and finally: "Käfer", a German one.
Let's see, what the us-ascii list will make of this.
On my machine, I'm receiving plain text digests with a header
saying Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii", and things like
Ondra's
last name are being wrecked,
Same here:
MIME-Version: 1.0
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit
Gerriet.
