How to get system volume path ?

I have three volumes on my HD. They are system,
workspace, and backup.( I use MacOSX 10.2.8 operation
system on my Mac.) I want to get these three volumes
by use NSWorkspace's mountedLocalVolumePaths mothod.
workspace and backup volumes are ok, but system volume
is "/" .
So anyone know how to get system volume's path(or
name)?
Please give me some advice.
