If he is doing version upgrade, he could face the problem that resources are generally loaded lazy. I've had Proteus go berserk on me at least once, because it was updating its own bundle contents while running.

Well, of course you should not *access* the bundle during and after the changes (or otherwise, at least, you should not be surprised :))


What I meant was the very fact the application runs does not limit anything. You can freely upgrade from the app code (I can't resist adding that I personally heartily dislike that!), but then you can't continue, you have to relaunch.
