Hmm. I'm embarrassed to say that this is the first I've heard of an .sdef file; I followed the XCode doc & examples and built the scriptSuite and scriptTerminology files by hand (and picked up Suite Modeler along the way).

The link certainly gives me a thread to pursue; I'll give it a close read.
