bindings, NSPopUpButtonCell, and images

My tableview uses an array controller to manage a popup menu in a NSPopUpButtonCell. However, I cannot get the popup to display anything other than plain text. Is it possible for the popup to display attributed text, or an image? As it is now, the popup displays a list of available colors, and I'd like the popup to display a small image representing the color as well as the name.
Thanks in advance!
Bill
