Look at the NSAppleEventManager class. If that doesn't suit your needs, you can always resort to using the AppleEvent manager from Carbon.

Hi,

I'm in the middle of porting a program from REALbasic to Cocoa, but i have hit one problem, AppleEvents. I have tried everything I can think of to generate them and then send them and then catch the results, but nothing works. Is there something you need to do. Is it even possible to send AppleEvents (this seems a bit odd, with it being an Apple Technology)?

Thanks

Tom Hancocks
