Single pixel border window

Hi,
I was wondering if anybody know of an easy way of getting a single pixel
border for 10.2 systems. As I presently use the suggestion which I got here
on doing a borderless window via a combination of nib and a single inherited
cocoa class, but Panther adds in shadow for all windows so you get a natural
borders edge effect.

Unfortunately I'm seeing on 10.2, that there's no window shadow so no
implicted border edge, so I'm getting white on white effect from window
underneath which is there and this borderless window is white as well. so

1) Any way to get 10.2 to add in a shadow window effect - I guess no :-(.
Didn't see anything in the headers

2) Is there an easy way to get a single pixel border edge to be added in the
non client window area. I've done a WDEF many years ago, but I guess I need
to find a Cocoa way of doing this and I guess there's a better way to do
this these days.

Thanks in advance for any help

Mark.
