Thanks for the info.
Since there are constants for it, can I expect vertical text support in near future or is this an issue of less high importance for Apple?
(I already filed a request in Radar #4064092)

I want my text in a NSTextStorage to be layed out from top to bottom, instead of left to right. I noticed the NSLineSweepDirection constants and the NSLineMovement constants, that are used by the NSTypesetter.

How do I force an other than the default NSLineSweepRight to be used in the NSTypesetter?

The Cocoa text system does not currently support vertical layout.
