My problem is: if the user activate Exposé (F9) when the drawer is open, it loses its position -> when coming back from Exposé mode, the drawer is no more attached to its parent window and can appear anywhere on your screen.
I had already noticed this behavior when working with other NSDrawer-using applications (like Mail for instance) but not systematically !

Use an NSPanel instead of an NSWindow. In the IB info panel, check "Utility window (Panel only)". That will make the panel disappear when the user activates Exposé.

I know it doesn't solve your problem, but for your purposes it's an effective workaround.

My system doesn't show the buggy drawer behavior you describe. It could be a problem on your system. Do you have any Application Enhancers active? _______________________________________________
