font panel and IB widget

Hello,

Does anyone know how to obtain the font change message from the standard font panel in IB to an NSTextField in a custom inspector and then perhaps off to a widget object represened by that inspector ? I've spent hours trying to solve this mystery and it seems that there is not a way to intercept the font changes messages from the font panel to a standard NSTextField in a custom IB inspector, or did I miss something somewhere along the trail ??

Thanks for any help in advance.
Regards,
Bob M.
