If you build this example, you'll have everything you need to use the
enabled binding, though he doesn't specifically cover it.

I have. And while I may have missed it, I couldn't find anything to
help with this particular example (nor in the archives from the last 6
months).
My gut feeling is that if I can get a "worked example" explaining how
to do this, bindings will become a lot clearer to me. Any takers?
