NSMenu delegate broken?

Hi,

I am using NSMenu's delegate from a dock menu. I can verify that the delegate is set from applicationDockMenu: but the delegate methods never get called. I copied them all out of docs, just to make sure I hadn't goofed the method signatures. validateMenuItem: is getting called on the same object, as target. Any ideas?
