To follow up on this, I have discovered that the problem only exists
on Tiger (10.4.2). Running the same binary on 10.3.9 does not give
the resize problem.
Any ideas?

I have an Cocoa App that uses OpenGL with the Visualization Toolkit
(VTK). It has always compiled and run fine, but now it has a
strange window redraw problem, where I get ghosting whenever I
resize a window.
I have made several changes to my setup since the last time I built
the application, so I can't be sure what the culprit is. It could be:
- New version of VTK (4.2.1)
- Tiger
- Xcode 2.1
- Snapz Pro X. This was installed, but I have removed it, and the
problem persists.
What is very strange is that a simple test app does work properly,
using the same VTK library and OpenGL framework. Also, the
redrawing problem afflicts not only the window that contains my
NSOpenGLView, but also any other windows in the app that can be
resized, even ones that are completely empty.
You can see the redraw problem here:

Does anyone know what could be causing a problem like this? I'm
completely stumped.
