Resolving network aliased paths?

  • Subject: Resolving network aliased paths?

Hi,

I'm trying to load the iTunes xml file. I can handle aliased paths by using the handy function given here - http://developer.apple.com/ documentation/Cocoa/Conceptual/LowLevelFileMgmt/Tasks/ ResolvingAliases.html - however, it apparently doesn't work when the alias is pointing to a path on a remote machine, connected over a network.

I only have one mac, so I'm having trouble figuring this one out. Any tips for resolving aliases that will handle remote paths too?
