Coredata and plugins...

  • Subject: Coredata and plugins...

Would it be possible to have a Core data application have its own file/database along with its various plugins having their own file/ database? Is this possible or am I looking at this the wrong way? Do I need to a generic way of storing data in one file, this being a server style app, or can the plugins have their own datamodel and file?

Haven't tried this yet just getting started with the program and haven't found yes or no in the docs. I have read in this list that the system merges the different models into one at compile time and any like items can create problems then or down the road.

If any one has tried this, seen this or has an opinion on this I would be very interested in hearing this.

Thanks to the group.

Jon
