You need to add an observer for NSWindowDidBecomeKeyNotification.

There should be no need to do so if you simply implement the delegate method.

If a delegate method is not invoked, then:

(a) Check the method spelling and signature:
    - (void)windowDidBecomeKey
is not the same as
    - (void)windowDidBecomeKey:sender
(and
    - (void)windowDidBecameKey:sender
is not the same as
    - (void)windowDidBecomeKey:sender
)


(b) Check that you actually set the delegate...
