Hi All,

My project requires me to control the monitor characteristics such as brightness and contrast. I know of ways to control the monitor characteristic using DDC for DDC enabled monitors. But I see that iMac can change the contrast and brightness pro grammatically (under the display settings) and I suppose iMac is not using DDC for that ;-) . Can anyone enlighten me how actually this control works? Can I do the same with Cocoa ? any hints will be of great help.

Thanks, -Anish
