Handler for Apple Events

Handler for Apple Events

  • Subject: Handler for Apple Events
  • From: "Gerriet M. Denkmann" <email@hidden>
  • Date: Sun, 21 Aug 2005 12:32:37 +0200

1. When I register a handler for a certain event (e.g. kAEOpenDocuments = 'odoc') and an event is processed which is not handeled by this handler, and Indo.plist contains NSAppleScriptEnabled = YES, then my handler will never be called again.

2. [ alisEvent coerceToDescriptorType: typeFileURL] returns nil on Panther and in some situations on Tiger.

Bug or feature?

If someone wants to check this out: I have a small project (36 kB) which shows these effects.

Kind regards,

Gerriet.
