WebView only does it's work during the main run loop (not to be
confused with the main thread - see NSRunLoop) - if there is another
run loop running (such as control/menu tracking, or even modal
dialogs) it won't refresh - I discovered this problem when I had a
WebView in a modal dialog and it didn't want to load a page.
In the case of a dialog, it's easy enough to roll your own modal
session which makes sure to do something using the main run loop, but
I'm not sure how to best get that to happen while menu tracking is
going on.
Perhaps (depending on how you handle contextual menus for tables/use
of binds/delegates/etc...) you can add:
[[NSRunLoop currentRunLoop] runUntilDate: [NSDate
dateWithTimeIntervalSinceNow:0.1]];
after you set the page data.
