Here is a link to a screenshot of what I call an ugly underline. This
is the result of the code I've posted earlier (the custom view only
drawing an underline text using sample Apple code) :

As you can see, the line, which is supposed to be a single pixel
line, is 2 pixels height and blurred.
Can someone use the code I've posted earlier and compare the result
with this screenshot ?

And by the way, every other lines in MacOSX are drawn perfectly.
The problem only appears in my app.

Regarding the issue at hand, I suspect that the "problem" is due
to anti-aliasing. Using the code you provided, I don't see
anything I'd regard as "ugly".
