That's because you don't use a lot of C function pointers. Once you start with those, regular pointers seem extremely clear... by comparison ;)

Well, what I can say for myself is, that I don't have a problem with pointers - but I *do* have a problem with the *notation* for handling pointers in C. It's just horribly confusing in my opinion.
