Who knows... maybe this isn't possible (yet).
Modulo my previous comment about the advisability of binding to a view,
yes you can create a palette item that exposes bindings. This has been
discussed on the list within the last week or two (see thread "Problems
with custom NSView subclass, IBPalette, and bindings support").
