NSView and NSText in command non-GUI app

  • Subject: NSView and NSText in command non-GUI app

I want to create a PDF in my non-GUI app. I obviously have to link in AppKit and I know that WindowServer has to be running. What I don't know is if it enough that any user is logged in or does my app need to run under the user and account that is logged in?

I.E. can I have an account that auto-logs in but run my app as root?

Thanks,
-Mont
