I wanted to add a palette to IB; however, I wasn't sure where it to put them (I was looking into using the developer Example/InterfaceBuilder/BusyPalette).

You can have them anywhere you like (a good place is ~/Developer/Palettes).

To add them, just do as the documentation says: Open IB, then go to Preferences -> Palettes -> Add
