Beginning BEGINNER ques

I built the simplest tutorial. Build, Run, fine. The app file, when double clicked, runs OK on the drive on which it was created.

BUT... when copy -or- package and install to another drive the app will not launch.

I realize this ques may be too elementary for this forum but
I need at least one success to build upon.

Am I omitting or missing something?
