Hi Philip, I tried that same process myself and worked just fine, did you add the new .as file to the project after saving it?

As for file revisions, you have either the method you've used or a SCM. I'd recommend Subversion it is what I'm using:

prebuilt packages from CodingMonkeys > http://www.codingmonkeys.de/mbo/
this GUI works just fine (svnX) > http://www.lachoseinteractive.net/en/community/subversion/svnx/ features/

Cheers,
OS

Hello all,

I am using Xcode 1.5 to do some Actionsscript.
I started with an empty project and added "emtpy File in Project".
I have grouped the classes into physical folders.

Now, I wanted to rename one script to "DateDisplay.as.bu" and then I created a new file named "DateDisplay.as" in the same group/folder.
When I edit DateDisplay.as, DateDisplay.as.bu is also changed. It seems they are linked.
Is this normal behaviour? Is there a feature around (besides CVS) to save revisions of a document?

Thanks for any help.
Phil
