I have looked briefly in the developer doco, and it's not in the index in Hillegass. Can anyone point me in the right direction for getting the proxy icon to appear and work?

What do you mean by proxy icon?

I'm not surprised you don't know the term. I found it in the Apple OS X HIG dated 2004-12-02. Chapter 8 deals with it. It the file icon in the title bar to the left of the title, seen in most editors. SubEthaEdit uses it, as does TextMate. In DreamWeaver it doesn't work. I have been previewing my work in Textmate by dropping the proxy icon onto Safari in the Dock.

Regards,

Mark
