FireWire HD and getFileSystemInfoForPath

  • Subject: FireWire HD and getFileSystemInfoForPath

Hi List,

Why does getFileSystemInfoForPath:isRemovable:isWritable:isUnmountable: description:type: set the removableFlag to NO and the unmountableFlag to NO when I pass it the path to my FireWire HD?

It works as expected when I give it the path to a disk image. Is there a better way to determine if my application is being launched from removable media.

Thanks,
Edward Hillenbrand
