Controlling the horizontal position of the menu associated with an NSPopupButton

  • Subject: Controlling the horizontal position of the menu associated with an NSPopupButton

I have an NSPopupButton configured as a pulldown and I'd like to control where the menu appears when the control is used. Right now, the menu is appearing too far to the right of the control. For the record, the button is borderless and has an image for its "cap," which is why it's a pulldown and not a popup. I don't use the arrow that comes with the control, preferring instead the arrow that's part of the custom graphic that's "attached" to the pulldown (the application's GUI is "skinned.") What ends up happening is that when the pulldown is clicked, the menu appears above the control, but close to 100 pixels too far to the right. Any ideas out there?
