I think what they're trying to say is that the answer to this question
is day 1 knowledge and the answer could have been found with 5 minutes
of easy research.

Namely, I would suggest to you that you pick up Hillegass's Cocoa
programming book, browse www.cocoadev.com and www.cocoadevcentral.com,
you can also read the documentation under the Help menu in XCode.

I don't mean to sound insulting, but this is just very, very basic
stuff. If you don't like reading documentation and doing a lot of
experimentation on your own, objc/cocoa is probably not the
development environment for you. It is not amongst the most
user-friendly of languages to learn.

If you are looking for easy-to-program environments, check out RealBasic.
