(trying this post again b/c the first didn't go through overnight)

Hi all-

   Is this a bug?

A basic cocoa app's main window is set via Interface Builder to:
hide on deactivate, be visible at launch time, & be textured. & then
that app is set to be launched via Login Items.

Then, on login, the app starts, but when I activate the
application (click on its icon in the dock), the window does not
appear, though the app is active. if I activate another app, then
re-activate the test app, it still does not show its main window.

What is strange is this.... when I launch the app manually (so
that it is immediately the active app), it shows its window right
away. & it also correctly automatically hides the window when &
again showed it when the app was activated again.

I guess there is no such thing as a free launch eh? ewwwww that was bad!

Anyone have any idea what is happening & what a suggested
workaround might be?

Thanks much-
Matt
