Extending NSTextView with 'modal' editing

  • Subject: Extending NSTextView with 'modal' editing

I'm trying to subclass NSTextView to create a very basic VI-like
editing view. I've looked at the documentation for NSTextView and, as
far as I can tell, it's design is just not well suited to being used
for modal editing. I can't decide exactly what to override. I'm
rather new to Cocoa programming, so I may be missing something
fundamental here. Any suggestions?
