What if you export from one address book, take the file to the other computer, and import? Would that work?

Export what and how? I can do File -> Back up Database... but the other Address Book can only do: "Revert to Database Backup..." which replaces its database with the other database.
This would make sense if this database is a true subset of the other.
This is of course not the case.

The only way to import is File -> Import -> vCards....
But the only way to generate vCards is File -> Export vCard... (please note the singular case).
This is way to tedious.

Well - to answer my own question: Sync Services is probably very nice but I guess it is no help for me.
So I'll just go ahead with my own Address Sync program.

Kind regards,

Gerriet.
