New Documentation Available - Time to Fire Up Xcode

The July update for the Apple Developer Documentation is now available for download and installing via your friendly neighborhood Xcode preferences panel.

there are many documents with minor updates, and the following are first versions/content updates


First Version

Core Endian Reference (HTML) (PDF)
New document that describes the C API for creating and installing callbacks to byte swap custom data.


Content Updates

Cocoa Bindings Programming Topics (HTML)
Added four new articles on controller content, controller selection, message flow between model-view-controller, and troubleshooting Cocoa bindings. Made other minor changes.


Cocoa Tutorial for Java Programmers (HTML) (PDF)
Updated to specify the purpose of Cocoa-Java technology in application development. Revised tutorial using Xcode 2.1. Changed title from "Developing Cocoa Applications: A Tutorial."


Cocoa-Java Integration Guide (HTML)
Updated to specify the purpose of Cocoa-Java technology in Mac OS X. Changed title from "Java/Objective-C Language Integration."


QuickTime Overview (HTML) (PDF)
Updated for QuickTime 7.

Sync Services Tutorial (HTML)
Minor editorial corrections throughout.
