help! I lost my menu bar

  • Subject: help! I lost my menu bar

In an old utility app (document based) that I'm trying to modify after a number of years, it appears that bit rot has set in and I have lost my menu bar.

When I run the app, no menu bar appears. I looked at the mainmenu.nib file and the mydocument.nib file and everything looks ok. When I make a brand new project and compare it to my old project, they look the same but they act differently when run in xcode.

When I run the old project in xcode, my window shows up but the menu bar is still XCode's. When I run the new project in XCode, the new project's menu bar shows up.

The only thing I can think of is that the old project was created in an earlier version of Interface builder and some how something is not working now in XCode 2.1.

Any ideas how I can get my menu bar back?

Thanks,

Matt
