Is apple using this really?
I am curious, how many people files a bug about documentation this
way or any other ways?
I just started doing this. In the last two days I've begun re-
reading the bindings documentation and I've filed about 20 bugs
through the above reporting mechanism. While most were simple typos
or copy/paste errors, some were of a more analytical nature. I must
say I was delighted to discover this feature-- if I see a flaw in
what is otherwise near perfection, I am compelled to pull out my
handkerchief and polish it, if I can. This process is simple and
easy to do, and if you provide your email address in the report, you
may well get a thanks or other feedback as I did.
P.S. In hopes of encouraging this practice, I might also mention that
I discovered an unexpected reward for my effort: Since I knew I
could report anything I felt was unclear or wrong, I found myself
reading the documentation with increased scrutiny, with the result
that I learned more. _______________________________________________
