I can say that the one good thing about that statement from Apple is
that it implies that what is there today will be there tomorrow. So
using Java to communicate with a server side process (relevant to my
question earlier) will continue to be a viable option for the
foreseeable future.
It is unfortunate that they seem to be phasing the bridge out.
Although I don't think any of this will have an impact on
"server-side" processes since Cocoa has no relevance on the server.
