Thanks for your response.

I looked at the selectedDOMRange class before, but I didn't see there was a method which returns a string. I should be able to figure the rest out on my own.

Also thanks for the AppKiDo suggestion. This will make it a lot easier to learn & understand Apple's FrameWorks.
