Running remote commands through sudo/sec framework?

  • Subject: Running remote commands through sudo/sec framework?

Hi,

I want to run some terminal commands on a remote machine through my application (the tasks require admin authentication, i.e sudo). Is this possible to do securely? I was thinking of using SSH, but once the user supplies the name and password for the remote machine, and my app connects to it, how do I check if it was an administrator name and password. And once I verify that it is a correct admin user, how would I directly send commands using sudo -e? Or is there a way to use the Security framework for remote authentication?

I'm trying to figure out how to do this, but just can't see how it can be done. (executing sudo commands on a remote machine).

Thanks a lot for any help.
