communicate with the serial adapter as though you were using a UNIX terminal and a serial port. OS X recgonizes adapters as serial ports. For more info you can scan the archives, or post questions to email@hidden, they can provide more help than I can.

Mike

I am writing a program that communicates over a serial port in OSX on a

mac that has no serial port.

Does anybody know how, using a USB-serial adapter, one can open a

socket to the adapter serial port?

    thanks,
